1) Online applications are invited for the below mentioned posts. The last date for filling up the applications is 31.07.2020. Candidates should
carefully read the “Instructions” available on Commission’s website before filling the application online.

2) In case of non-availability of suitable candidates with the knowledge of Konkani for the posts in professional colleges, Consultants in
Directorate of Health Services and highly technical/scientific posts, the Goa Public Service Commission may recommend a candidate if
otherwise found fit and this requirement can be relaxed by the Government, on the recommendation of the Goa Public Service Commission, if
the Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do.

3) Prescribed EQs are minimum & mere possession of same does not entitle the candidates to be called for interview. Where number of
applications received is large, the Commission will short list the candidates to be called for interview as mentioned in the “Instructions”.


GOA DENTAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL

Lecturer in Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry Scale of Pay Age Educational & Other Qualifications
2 Post Rs. 15,600-39,100+5400/- (pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level Not exceeding 45 years. Essential: (i) A qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948).

(ii) Post-Graduate qualification in
Dentistry i.e. Master of Dental Surgery in concerned speciality/subject from a recognized institution or equivalent.

(iii) Should be registered
with Dental Council. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: (i) One year teaching experience after post graduation in a recognized Institute.

(ii) Three years experience as Registrar/Tutor/Senior
Resident/Demonstrator in the concerned speciality of Dentistry in a recognized Dental College/Medical College with Dental Wing/Dental
Institution

(iii) Knowledge of Marathi.


DIRECTORATE OF HIGHER EDUCATION

Assistant Professor in Flute in Goa College of Music Scale of Pay Age Educational & Other Qualifications:-
1 Post Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,000/- (pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level Not exceeding 45 years Essential: : (i) Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an
Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.(ii) National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SET) shall
remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor: Provided, however, that candidates who are or have been
awarded Ph. D. Degree in compliance of the “University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph. D. Degree),
Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of
Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Colleges”.

(iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: (i) Ph. D. or M. Phil. in the relevant subject

(ii) Knowledge of Marathi.


CAPTAIN OF PORTS DEPARTMENT

Incharge Marine Slipway, by Transfer on Deputation (including Short Term Contract) Scale of Pay: Age Educational & Other Qualifications:-
1 Post Rs. 9,300-34,800+4,200/- (pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level Not exceeding 45 years. Essential: : (i) Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Marine, or Automobile Engineering of a recognised University or equivalent.

(ii) 3 years’
experience for degree holders and 5 years’ experience for diploma in maintenance/ overhauling and repairs of marine/ auto diesel engines/
hull repair etc. in a reputed Shipyard/Marine Workshop

Note 1: Qualifications are relaxable, at the discretion of the G.P.S.C. in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

Note 2: The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the G.P.S.C. in the case of candidates belonging to
Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes if, at any stage of selection, the G.P. S.C. is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from
these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.

(iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: (i) Certificate of Competency as 2nd Class Master or Certificate of competency as 2nd Class Engine Driver (Motor) under the I.V. Act 1917.
(ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

CAPTAIN OF PORTS DEPARTMENT

Deputy Hydrographic Surveyor, by Transfer on Deputation ( including Short Term Contract) Scale of Pay Age Educational & Other Qualifications:-
1 post Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/- (pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level Not exceeding 45 years. Essential: (i) Licentiate member of the Institution of Surveyors (India) in Sub Div. I

(ii) Hydrographic Surveying and minimum of 5 years experience in surveying in a recognised Hydrographic Surveying Service as Asst.  Hydrographic Surveyor or equivalent, after obtaining Licentiate member.

OR

Should be a Survey Recorder 1st class of the Indian Navy and at least 5 years experience in Surveying in a recognised Hydrographic Surveying Services as Asst. Hydrographic Surveyor or equivalent, after obtaining Survey Recorder 1st class of the Indian Navy.

Desirable: (i) Knowledge of Marathi.
